Mokuyado Tanakatei Terms of Use

Mokuyado Tanakatei (hereinafter referred to as 'the Facility') has established the following terms of use based on Article 10 of the Accommodation Agreement. We kindly ask you to use the facility ni accordance with these terms. If you are unable to comply with this agreement, we may regrettably have to refuse your stay and use of the hotel facilities. Moreover, you may be responsible for any damages incurred by the facility. We kindly ask for your special attention to this matter.

1. Use of Guest Rooms

  1. Inside the building, please refrain from wearing shoes. Kindly remove your shoes upon entering through the front entrance.
  2. The front entrance is equipped with an auto-lock system. When going out, be sure to carry the dedicated card provided or your mobile phone containing the exclusive QR code.
  3. Before sleeping or going out, ensure that doors, except the front entrance, are securely locked.
  4. Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the building. Smoking on the street in front of the main entrance and in the surrounding area is also prohibited.
  5. Bringing in any fire-related items other than cooking utensils provided within the facility, using fire for cooking, as well as fireworks and BBQ, are strictly prohibited.
  6. Any use of the facility for purposes other than accommodation without prior permission is prohibited.
  7. Do not move furniture, appliances, or other items within the facility, and do not alter or modify the structure of the building. * In the event of any damage or staining to the building, we reserve the right to charge for cleaning and repair costs required to restore it to its original condition. For any damage, staining, or loss of furniture, appliances, or items, we will charge the cost of replacing with equivalent new items.
  8. Please use the facility according to the reservation made by the guest, including the specified number of individuals. Accommodation or use by individuals other than those who made the reservation, as well as use or stay by a different number of people, is strictly prohibited.
  9. The surrounding area of the facility is a residential area, and disruptive activities such as parties are strictly prohibited. Please especially maintain a quiet environment from 21:00 to 7:00 the next morning. * In the event of complaints about noise or disturbances from the neighborhood, we reserve the right to request departure, regardless of the accommodation period.
  10. The bringing of pets, including animals and birds, into the facility is prohibited.
  11. If you are unsure about operating equipment, unable to use it due to malfunctions, or fi there is damage or staining to indoor furnishings, please contact us. In non-emergency situations, such as late at night, additional on-site service charges of 5,000 JPY may apply.

2. About Facility Keys

  1. The keys used for entering the facility are issued with a dedicated QR code for each stay. Two card-type keys wil be provided during check-in, so please store the QR code on your mobile phone if additional copies are needed.
  2. The QR code automatically becomes invalid upon reaching the check-out time, and access to the facility will be restricted. Please ensure that you have not left any belongings behind when departing.
  3. During check-out, please confirm that you have not forgotten any items and place the two cards provided on the table before leaving.
  4. If, during your stay, you lose the key or are unable to enter the building due to forgetting it inside, and you wish for immediate assistance to unlock the door, there wil be acharge of 5,000 JPY so please be aware of this in advance.

3. Payment Information

  1. Payments for the facility are generally processed through credit cards via reservation websites. Please be aware that we may not be able to accommodate other payment methods.
  2. In the event of using additional services within the facility, fi the terms of use are not adhered to, additional charges corresponding to the service or penalties may be applied. Please be sure to understand and agree to this in advance

4. Valuables

  1. It is your responsibility to manage your valuables within the facility. The facility does not provide services such as holding your belongings. We do not assume any responsibility for theft, loss, or other incidents.

5. Parking Usage

  1. The facility's parking area is located on the west side adjacent to the facility (refer to the diagram). Please refrain from parking without permission in areas other than the designated parking lot.
  2. The road in front of the main entrance of the facility is a busy thoroughfare, and parking may obstruct traffic, especially during the loading and unloading of luggage. Kindly use the designated facility parking.
  3. If unauthorized parking occurs outside the facility, causing obstruction or fi a rental car or other vehicle is left unattended upon departure, towing services may be arranged, and the cost incurred wil

6. Refusal and Termination of Accommodation Contract

  1. In cases falling under Article 5, 6, or 7 of the accommodation agreement of this facility, accommodation may be refused or terminated during the stay. In such cases, refunds of accommodation fees and penalties will follow the terms of the agreement. It is understood that there can be no objection if there is no refund of accommodation fees.

7. Prohibited Activities within the Facility

  1. Bringing flammable or explosive items such as firearms and explosives.
  2. Bringing pets such as animals and birds (excluding assistance dogs; please inquire in advance).
  3. Bringing items prohibited by Japanese laws, such as guns, swords, and narcotics.
  4. Speaking loudly or having phone conversations inside and outside the facility and in the surrounding areas. Using items that generate loud noises.
  5. Distributing advertisements or promotional materials, selling goods, or engaging in solicitation activities.
  6. Smoking in areas other than designated locations.
  7. Acts that violate other provisions of these Terms of Use or the Accommodation Agreement.

8. Changes to the Terms and Conditions

  1. These terms and conditions fall under the category of standard contracts as defined by civil law, and each provision of these terms will be changed if it is deemed necessary for the general benefit of the customer or if there are substantial reasons for modification based on legal provisions.
  2. Changes to these terms will be effective from the specified date of enforcement, as indicated during their publication on our designated website. In the event of modifications to the terms, a letter or tablet
